Andrew Cleese and Ms Lyon Page 8

"But it's magic." The fairy spread her arms wide. "No explaining it or controlling it. You're from here, he's from there." She waved her hands independently to illustrate the separation of here and there. "The two of you can't exist for long in the same space-time continuum."

  "Huh?"

"I don't know what it means, but it sounds fucking impressive, don't you think?"

Demetria struggled. "So you're saying that even though Andrew and I were together in his world, I couldn't stay?"

  "Did you?"

"Well, no, but I thought I'd been sick. Or hallucinating or something."

  "See?"

  "No."

"Too bad, because I can't figure this shit out either." The fairy tugged her hair. "Drives me crazy sometimes."

"So what do I have to do to get back to help Andrew?"

As soon as she spoke, Demetria knew what she'd said was the right thing. Her heart and her soul slipped into alignment with the planets and the sense of correctness straightened her spine with a little snap. It was what she had to do.

"Now there, I can help you. As a matter of fact, I'm here to see if you want to come visit him."

"Yes." No questions, no hesitation. "What do I do?"

"Click your heels together three times and say There's no place like Andrew."

  "You're kidding."

"Yes. I'm kidding. Duh." The fairy rolled her eyes. "That would be too hokey for words. Even we're not that cutesy. All you have to do is close your eyes and think of where you most want to be."

  "Piece of cake."

Demetria couldn't wait. She closed her eyes and an image of Andrew smiling his wicked little smile at her immediately leaped into her mind. She yearned for him, ached to be able to kiss those lips and fold herself against his body again.

She wanted him with every particle of her body; every fiber, every nerve, every cell needing his presence to make them complete.

  And then...

  Then...

There he was. Standing at the end of a path, staring at a short woman in a brown dress with some rather tattered flowers circling her head and in front of some solemn looking people, one of whom was speaking.

"If anyone present knows cause why these two should not be joined together, speak now or forever..."

The words rattled in Demetria's brain and scarcely had time to settle before she jumped and started running. "Hey...heyyyy...Andrew..."

Andrew turned at her yell and part of her noticed how pale and wan he looked. The rest of her just wanted to jump his bones and she settled for throwing herself into his arms and loving the "oof" she heard as she grabbed him.

"You cannot do this, Andrew. No, no and no. Please. No." She was babbling, half-crying, half-sputtering into his robe.

"You're here..." He stroked her hair and sounded stunned.

"Yes. I'm here. I'm going to stay here. You can't do this. You can't marry anyone else..."

"Wait." He put a finger over her lips. "You'll stay here?"

Near to tears, she nodded. "Yes. If I can be with you, yes."

  "Of your own free will?"

  "Absolutely."

"And not go back to your world?"

"I can't live in it without you. I just realized that. I'm as empty as that woman in the mirror without you, Andrew. Can't you see that?"

His smile began, a little twist of his lips that grew into that blinding and brilliant glow, warming her all over. "I see it, love. I see it." He chuckled and stroked her hair. "You came to save me, didn't you?"

She nodded again. "Of course. I love you, Andrew. I had to come. Let me stay? Tell me you want me to stay."

"Shhh." He gentled her and held her so tight she could barely draw a breath. "Of course I want you to stay."

"So you won't marry this..." Demetria turned to the other woman who was staring at the two of them, her mouth a comical "O". "This...lady."

"I wasn't planning on it, no."

"Huh?" Her head swiveled back to look up at Andrew's face. "But I heard..."

"I'm standing in for Letty's father. Her mother is a friend of my mother's and they're in business together." He looked pained. "They have an okra farm."

"Oh, I see," said Demetria, who didn't.

"Long and short of it, I'm not getting married today. What made you think I was?"

"The fairy..." Her voice tapered off as he begin to chuckle. "What?"

"Never mind." He hugged her again, still grinning. "Let me finish here and then we'll talk."

Obediently she stepped to one side, but he wouldn't let her go further, holding her hand tightly and tugging her back to a place just behind him.

She watched as he gave away the little brown creature to her future mate, a slightly larger brownish lad with a bulbous nose. She even applauded as they shared an awkward and embarrassed peck on the cheek.

Then all hell broke loose as the room filled with guests determined to redefine "party hearty".

Andrew seized the moment to drag Demetria away, pulling her quickly out a side door and down a path between high hedges to a fountain at the end. "Hold on to me."

She did so, willingly, snuggling her head just beneath his chin and closing her eyes in pleasure.

  "Okay. We're here."

  "Mmm."

  "Demetria? We're here."

"Good." She slowly opened her eyes, then widened them as she realized they had somehow traveled to Andrew's little cottage. "Shit. How'd you do that?"

He looked down at her and smiled, love in his eyes.

She smiled back. "I got it. Magic. I believe, Andrew. I truly believe."

He bent to her and kissed her, a long slow mating of tongues swirling against each other, learning anew each other's taste and fragrance.

A part of her mind registered the fact that her clothing was disintegrating, but she didn't care. Being naked with Andrew was even better than being with him clothed. "Andrew..." She moaned into his mouth as his hands found her.

"I know." He stroked, rubbing his aroused cock against her belly. "Let's fuck first and talk later, okay?"

"Good plan." She stood on tiptoe and lifted a thigh up around his hip, letting the head of his erection find its way between her thighs and against her pussy lips. "I want you. Never stopped wanting you, but I couldn't remember your name or your face. I knew I was missing something, that part of me was lost..."

  "Jesus, woman."

Hungrily, Andrew devoured her mouth, spinning her until her back came to rest against the wall of his cottage. The birds were singing and the bricks were rough on her skin, but when he put his hands on her buttocks and raised her up, she willingly locked her legs around him.

"Inside. Put me where I need to be." He held her, rubbing himself against her breasts in tiny little shudders of pleasure.

She reached between their bodies and found his rigid length, moving slightly so that he was poised at exactly the right spot.

  One thrust and...

Yeah, it was all that and a bag of chocolate chip cookies.

Everything worked exactly the way it was supposed to work when male and female parts come together in love, passion and heated desire. In fact, Demetria's screams were so loud they shook some of the thatch off the roof and rattled the dovecote so much that two eggs fell out of their nests and hatched on the floor instead.

There was no question about it, these two were destined to be together.

How, you may ask? Since there's that whole here and there thing, not to mention the space-time continuum?

Well, turns out that in all good fairy stories there's always a hidden escape clause. Read some of 'em and you'll see. Here, it was the simple fact of Demetria being willing to give up everything to stay in Andrew's world. She came to rescue him and was prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice for him.

That kind of love is a magic all of its own. And it was more than enough to ensure the two of them their own Happily Ever After.

Of course, Demetria couldn't sit idly around giving b
irth to little wizardly offspring while Andrew did everything himself. She found an empty niche to fill, and before long the Wizard's Weekly was hitting the newsstands and building a very respectable circulation. It even included a column on "101 Ways to Prepare Okra", since there was nothing smarter than making a friend of your mother-in-law.

So Andrew found his life mate and Demetria found herself, as well as the love of her life. We can leave them to it, secure in the knowledge that they'll always be crazy about each other, will have several healthy and reasonably normal kids...and not one of them will be forced to eat okra.

  Ever.

  THE END

  About The Author

Sahara Kelly is always happy to explain to editors that her spelling errors aren't really errors, since she was born and raised in England, where an extra "u" is quite in order. She likes to think it adds colour to her writing. Sadly, it's not a widely held belief, so she'd like you to know she still retains a lot from her English childhood even though you won't see much of it in her stories.

Arriving in America with her almost-complete collection of Leslie Charteris' Saint novels and a passion for Monty Python, Sahara's new life eventually expanded to include a husband, offspring, citizenship, and a certain amount of acclimation to her new surroundings. (She still cherishes that extra "u" though.) Life in New England became complete with the publication of her first novel just after the birth of her son, and over two decades later she's still writing.

Now enjoying the greater freedom offered to authors by the rapidly expanding self-publishing scene, she's looking forward to many more such experiences, both with older favorites and lots of new stories like this one. Being freed of restraints has opened doors - for Sahara and many other writers. There are now no impediments; no obstructions barring the path from writer to reader. Which is, in many ways, exactly as originally intended when that first storyteller sat on a rock outside her cave, tugged her bearskin around her shoulders and smiled at her kids across the open fire with the words "Once upon a time..." (or however it sounded several million years ago.)

Re-edited and reissued at a reduced price, this story is one of Sahara's all time favorites and is a perfect complement to this one and the one mentioned next.

With Game Over already on sale, there are now three hotly erotic comedies available to make you giggle while you sweat.

Not one to forget there are still a gazillion readers who love the feel of a solid book on their laps, rather than the images of text on their laptops, Sahara would like to encourage those folks to keep an eye out for a print volume containing all three of these fun stories. It should be available late in 2011 or early 2012. It will be titled Dragons, Dames and Video Games.

Duh. What else would you call it? (Grin)...

And then there's the ongoing series of erotic romances based in and around Renaissance Faires... One Knight Only is presently on sale and the other two can be described as works-in-progress, to be released soon. Of course, research has required Sahara spend many happy hours and a small fortune at a couple of Renaissance Faires, but as she likes to say...anything for her art!

  Isn't life great?

Best wishes for many hours of happy reading...
